00:00:03.835 --> 00:00:04.485
Hey Ryan,
00:00:04.956 --> 00:00:05.275
Hey,
00:00:06.586 --> 00:00:08.736
I'm a little concerned about today's episode.
00:00:09.156 --> 00:00:09.695
why
00:00:10.576 --> 00:00:18.495
Well, sometimes when I talk about this topic it can sound like I've got voices in my head.
00:00:20.356 --> 00:00:21.815
do you have voices in your head?
00:00:23.405 --> 00:00:31.666
Yeah, is that a problem?
00:00:31.882 --> 00:00:38.811
Welcome to another episode of Go Coach Yourself, a podcast to help you get unfucked and build the incredible life you deserve.
00:00:39.421 --> 00:00:44.771
We're Vic and Ryan, two certified coaches trying to change the world one conversation at a time.
00:00:45.542 --> 00:00:46.692
So what are we talking about today?
00:00:48.246 --> 00:00:53.097
we're talking about how do you find, connect and nurture your leader within.
00:00:53.866 --> 00:00:54.987
Um, amazing.
00:00:55.207 --> 00:01:00.767
And I want to share that this can be listened to alongside our saboteurs episode together.
00:01:00.817 --> 00:01:02.627
These are dynamite.
00:01:03.377 --> 00:01:09.856
Both of these concepts are central to the Coactive Method, the coaching practice that we both use.
00:01:10.626 --> 00:01:16.816
And while they're not exclusive to CTI or the Coactive Training Institute, they are both really great coaching tools.
00:01:17.981 --> 00:01:33.141
I would also say that if there was ever a way to get yourself unfucked and build an incredible life, your leader within is like the number one, right at the top of the list, without a doubt, world class cheat code for life.
00:01:34.031 --> 00:01:35.742
Yes, 100%.
00:01:36.191 --> 00:01:46.152
This, along with the saboteur episode, is certainly a foundation I would point everyone to every single time.
00:01:46.492 --> 00:01:46.811
Yeah.
00:01:47.022 --> 00:01:47.731
Couldn't agree more.
00:01:47.871 --> 00:01:48.632
Couldn't agree more.
00:01:49.022 --> 00:01:57.081
So Vic, uh, tell us a little bit about the leader within and why it's important for everybody to get on the same page.
00:01:58.932 --> 00:02:01.561
Our leader within is that best expression of us.
00:02:02.206 --> 00:02:10.477
It's us at our best, standing in our power, wind in our hair, rooted, stable, and ready for everything.
00:02:11.352 --> 00:02:12.301
Wind in your hair.
00:02:12.322 --> 00:02:15.021
I like, despite not having hair, I can feel that.
00:02:16.051 --> 00:02:16.342
But
00:02:16.347 --> 00:02:17.687
Ha ha ha, yes!
00:02:18.192 --> 00:02:20.792
this kind of sounds like your leader within.
00:02:21.326 --> 00:02:27.217
Ha ha ha, yeah! It is, sorry about that, sorry about that, got a little carried away, yeah, yeah, yeah, little carried away.
00:02:27.637 --> 00:02:33.597
All true though, I think your leader within is you, your best self at your core.
00:02:34.116 --> 00:02:37.747
Authentically you, without any bullshit, strong and true.
00:02:38.717 --> 00:02:39.396
What do you think?
00:02:39.842 --> 00:02:41.831
Yeah, I I think you're right for sure.
00:02:42.301 --> 00:02:49.581
Um you know the way that I would that I would put it and this one's for my fellow raised on the 1980s in the U.
00:02:49.581 --> 00:02:49.741
S.
00:02:49.762 --> 00:02:59.951
cartoon kids out there to me, an example of Your Leader Within would be Voltron, or think Captain Planet, or a good old Care Bear Stare.
00:02:59.951 --> 00:03:10.342
It is a collection of everything that is the best about you, coming together as a whole that is greater than the sum of its parts, and simply kicking ass to save the world in the name of good.
00:03:11.972 --> 00:03:15.671
Kicking ass to save the world in the name of good.
00:03:15.972 --> 00:03:24.597
I love that! Uh, I would also love to share what CTI says about the leader within.
00:03:24.986 --> 00:03:26.736
It really resonates with me.
00:03:26.796 --> 00:03:28.586
Um, can I read it?
00:03:29.062 --> 00:03:29.651
Yeah, please.
00:03:30.956 --> 00:03:31.396
All right.
00:03:33.396 --> 00:03:45.967
Quote, quote, your leader within is your inner authority who leads by example, standing in full acceptance and claiming full self authority of your life's journey.
00:03:47.072 --> 00:03:53.681
Your leader within is both an expression of who you are now and who you are becoming.
00:03:53.681 --> 00:04:08.312
They are the chooser within you who knows how to make life affirming choices that lead you to the fullest expression of your life purpose and values in every aspect of your life.
00:04:10.826 --> 00:04:12.526
And I love the following in this.
00:04:12.597 --> 00:04:20.567
I love inner authority, full self acceptance, who you are now and who you are becoming.
00:04:21.166 --> 00:04:25.497
I love this life affirming piece and the fullest expression.
00:04:25.766 --> 00:04:27.656
Oh, so powerful.
00:04:28.047 --> 00:04:34.276
This is who we are at our best, at our core, nothing held back, nothing in our way.
00:04:35.317 --> 00:04:38.656
Yeah, I love all those parts that you detailed out there as well.
00:04:39.016 --> 00:04:45.336
And the beauty of that it's grounded in now, while also being aspirational.
00:04:45.456 --> 00:04:47.297
Like, ugh, that's just so good.
00:04:47.896 --> 00:04:48.576
so good.
00:04:49.851 --> 00:05:00.382
Okay, so next let's share how people can tap into their leader within, because I imagine at this point for our listeners they're thinking, okay great, but how do I do this?
00:05:01.637 --> 00:05:02.047
Yeah.
00:05:02.721 --> 00:05:15.672
So as a quick aside before we start though, we want to recognize that if you're listening and you already know your leader within, you've got a connection with them, you're maybe on a first name basis or tapping into them all the time.
00:05:16.081 --> 00:05:17.922
If this is you, that's great.
00:05:18.201 --> 00:05:22.932
Adapt the exercises that we're sharing and the tools to deepen your awareness.
00:05:23.271 --> 00:05:27.002
Get reacquainted or validate what you've already created.
00:05:28.427 --> 00:05:31.456
Finding and getting to know your leader within can take time.
00:05:31.507 --> 00:05:35.086
And we're going to give you a place to start with a couple of those exercises today.
00:05:36.966 --> 00:05:47.867
The first one that we're sharing comes directly from CTI and centers around the question, who are you when you give yourself full permission and to repeat that.
00:05:48.622 --> 00:05:52.362
Who are you when you give yourself full permission?
00:05:52.992 --> 00:05:55.672
That's a big question and it can feel pretty loaded.
00:05:56.221 --> 00:06:06.711
Um, you might not know where to begin to answer this question and you might not have answers just like flowing out of your heart, mind, and soul like Care Bear Stare.
00:06:07.851 --> 00:06:14.612
But wherever you are, there is something in this question that can help you start to develop this idea of a leader within.
00:06:16.492 --> 00:06:26.726
There is a workbook that CTI has developed, and we'll link that in the show notes for you, that has three different ways that you can begin to explore that question.
00:06:27.137 --> 00:06:28.276
So we'll share those here.
00:06:29.377 --> 00:06:32.716
The first option is 10 minutes of timed writing.
00:06:34.166 --> 00:06:46.067
This is a great way to tap into your inner thoughts without feeling that pressure of getting it right, or having to edit it as it comes out, or maybe feeling judged by somebody if you're sharing it out loud.
00:06:46.677 --> 00:06:51.617
So, with this one, find a spot to sit, grab a pen and a notebook, and a timer.
00:06:53.237 --> 00:06:55.047
To start, answer the question.
00:06:55.651 --> 00:07:01.781
Who are you when you give yourself full permission and just write continuously for the 10 minutes?
00:07:02.572 --> 00:07:08.851
When your time's up, review everything that you wrote and highlight or pick out any phrases or words that resonate with you.
00:07:09.442 --> 00:07:16.502
The way that I really like to think about this is like picturing which of the words you can actually see written or imagine written in neon lights.
00:07:18.351 --> 00:07:19.112
I love that.
00:07:19.432 --> 00:07:19.862
Okay.
00:07:20.572 --> 00:07:26.951
And for people that haven't done that before, this like, writing continuously, it's so freeing.
00:07:29.262 --> 00:07:35.581
Option two here is you can find a partner and work with them on this.
00:07:36.362 --> 00:07:41.601
Sometimes we can go deeper when we're in proximity to someone that we trust and value.
00:07:42.502 --> 00:07:43.372
Find someone.
00:07:43.771 --> 00:07:50.541
Who fits that bill that you trust and value and ask them to be your witness in this exercise.
00:07:51.432 --> 00:07:52.632
And here's how you're going to do it.
00:07:52.641 --> 00:08:04.762
You're going to set a timer for two minutes and then your partner is going to ask you who are you when you give yourself full permission and you're just going to talk uninterrupted for two minutes.
00:08:05.271 --> 00:08:06.281
They're just going to listen.
00:08:06.291 --> 00:08:09.281
You're going to talk when the time is up.
00:08:09.341 --> 00:08:12.451
Your partner is simply going to say, thank you.
00:08:14.117 --> 00:08:17.567
And then they're going to ask you the same question again.
00:08:17.987 --> 00:08:21.026
Who are you when you give yourself full permission?
00:08:21.567 --> 00:08:27.476
You're going to set the timer and you're going to answer again uninterrupted for two minutes.
00:08:28.257 --> 00:08:35.167
When that time is up, your partner is once again going to say thank you and then they're going to ask you the same question.
00:08:35.917 --> 00:08:39.317
You're going to do this five times in total.
00:08:39.947 --> 00:08:51.437
So that you have 10 minutes to speak out loud and uninterrupted the answer to the question, Who are you when you give yourself full permission?
00:08:52.557 --> 00:08:58.027
Now following this, you're going to highlight what you've learned about yourself.
00:08:58.417 --> 00:09:03.856
What were the key words, phrases and concepts that you want to explore more?
00:09:04.606 --> 00:09:07.047
And your partner can help you with this.
00:09:07.086 --> 00:09:08.407
I heard you say.
00:09:08.756 --> 00:09:13.836
This phrase or word every single time in every two minute segment.
00:09:14.147 --> 00:09:17.927
This isn't about your partner processing what you've said.
00:09:18.427 --> 00:09:20.437
This isn't a coaching session.
00:09:20.697 --> 00:09:30.576
This is literally you being able to say it out loud and then capture the highlights, the themes, the concepts, the phrases that you've discussed.
00:09:31.812 --> 00:09:42.292
Like that is, that is a really powerful way to do this as well because you're getting kind of that mirror from the other person, which is great because we don't see the things that other people see.
00:09:42.802 --> 00:09:49.011
And then like you just described it, how you would do it for yourself, but then use it as an opportunity to go both ways.
00:09:49.511 --> 00:09:52.292
Like what a gift then that you could actually give somebody back.
00:09:52.331 --> 00:09:53.751
I, uh, that's so cool.
00:09:55.961 --> 00:10:07.231
So, the third option then is also 10 minutes, and this is a 10 minute meditation on that question, who are you when you give yourself full permission?
00:10:07.782 --> 00:10:15.231
You'll notice that we've said this question probably like a dozen times at this point, so hopefully you're getting inspired even and thinking of the answer for yourself.
00:10:16.422 --> 00:10:20.991
But, in the meditation example, what you'll do is find a quiet spot.
00:10:21.511 --> 00:10:32.121
Light a candle, set some music, get into kind of the zone that you might to reflect quietly and spend 10 minutes just thinking about that question.
00:10:33.241 --> 00:10:40.172
When the 10 minutes is up, capture any of the things that you felt in your body, in your mind, like what came up for you?
00:10:40.902 --> 00:10:44.381
What are the feelings that you want to remember and explore more?
00:10:45.787 --> 00:11:05.234
What I really love then about the three different like ways of doing this activity is that they're all great starting points to go on that leader within journey and Your leader within is who you are when you are in full permission and these exercises will help you start to uncover that
00:11:05.234 --> 00:11:05.563
Yeah.
00:11:05.604 --> 00:11:07.053
I love all of those.
00:11:07.524 --> 00:11:19.474
And if I could build on that last one, I'd like to offer a fourth option, and that's a guided meditation, or some might call this a visualization.
00:11:19.974 --> 00:11:27.818
Now, sometimes when we say meditation, if you don't practice meditation, it can feel or sound a bit woo woo.
00:11:28.448 --> 00:11:36.548
However, in this instance I find and clients have found that it works really well.
00:11:37.428 --> 00:11:42.759
And so a guided meditation is where you find a quiet comfortable space.
00:11:43.599 --> 00:11:49.489
You grab a pen and a journal and you're guided through a reflection exercise.
00:11:50.658 --> 00:12:00.948
So guided meditation or visualization is different to individual meditation in that you listen to a voice.
00:12:01.793 --> 00:12:03.293
versus sitting quietly.
00:12:04.323 --> 00:12:10.293
In the exercise before, you're sitting quietly and you're seeing what happens, what comes to you.
00:12:11.214 --> 00:12:26.214
In the guided meditation, you're taken through an experience that points you in a direction and sets up space for you to tap into something specific, specific thoughts or feelings here, namely your leader within.
00:12:27.014 --> 00:12:32.354
Now, Ryan, I think you've got a great guided meditation here on finding your leader within.
00:12:32.854 --> 00:12:32.964
I
00:12:33.033 --> 00:12:35.153
Yes I do and we will link
00:12:35.153 --> 00:12:36.203
to it in the show notes.
00:12:36.583 --> 00:12:40.653
It's actually one that I've used with clients, uh, that a coach has used with me.
00:12:41.094 --> 00:12:45.563
And the best part is that you get to enjoy my voice just a little bit more.
00:12:46.524 --> 00:12:53.374
I'm no Andy Puddicombe, but one listener commented that my voice is like, honey, true story.
00:12:54.033 --> 00:12:54.813
it is.
00:12:55.313 --> 00:12:55.913
It is.
00:12:55.913 --> 00:12:56.864
It totally is.
00:12:56.864 --> 00:12:57.714
It's like horny.
00:12:57.744 --> 00:12:58.423
Yes.
00:13:01.298 --> 00:13:06.489
But joking aside, um, I really, I really do enjoy taking folks through these exercises.
00:13:06.528 --> 00:13:09.109
So yeah, we'll, uh, we'll link that up in the show notes.
00:13:11.793 --> 00:13:13.933
You get to hear Ryan's dulcet tones.
00:13:15.274 --> 00:13:22.153
All right, so once you've spent some time answering the question, Who are you when you give yourself full permission?
00:13:22.803 --> 00:13:45.264
And tapping into your best self, it's time to start shaping what you've captured into something firmer and Something you can call on when you're in doubt or a saboteur is in play and we covered saboteurs in last week's episode so be sure to check that out if you haven't done already because it's the perfect partner to this one.
00:13:47.543 --> 00:13:58.114
So we need to both solidify who or what is your leader within but also how can you easily call on them?
00:13:58.484 --> 00:13:59.364
When you need to.
00:14:00.994 --> 00:14:08.823
This feels like it might be a good time to share a little bit about our own leader within and how we found them.
00:14:09.214 --> 00:14:10.364
Ryan, do you want to start?
00:14:11.134 --> 00:14:12.703
I would love to, yeah.
00:14:13.333 --> 00:14:21.303
So, uh, and just as a quick note that we may edit out of this, like I'm super excited to record this.
00:14:21.673 --> 00:14:26.183
Because like I've told this story to other people and people are like, why haven't you written that down?
00:14:26.344 --> 00:14:27.913
Why haven't you recorded that and shared that?
00:14:27.974 --> 00:14:28.854
So, okay.
00:14:30.073 --> 00:14:30.964
Here it is right
00:14:31.153 --> 00:14:31.764
Here it is.
00:14:34.303 --> 00:14:40.774
So, my leader within is a Cairn, or specifically what I call my Camino Cairn.
00:14:41.553 --> 00:14:53.349
If that term isn't familiar, and I'm saying Cairn, C A I R N, not Karen, A cairn is a human made stack of stones typically used as a trail marker.
00:14:54.519 --> 00:15:03.278
So, and this is actually the symbol that I use as part of my logo for StackRise coaching, and it's what inspired the name StackRise in the first place.
00:15:04.428 --> 00:15:10.808
So, in a way, I've essentially put my leader within front and center for myself and made it very accessible to me.
00:15:11.759 --> 00:15:13.568
But why a cairn?
00:15:13.808 --> 00:15:15.719
So, um, I'll share the story about that.
00:15:15.874 --> 00:15:25.464
Uh, back in 2007, I hiked the Camino de Santiago, which is a 700 kilometer pilgrimage across northern Spain.
00:15:26.524 --> 00:15:33.614
I walked on the so called French Way, which is probably the one that most people think of when they think of the Camino.
00:15:34.384 --> 00:15:40.583
It goes from Saint Jean Pied de Port in France to Santiago de Compostela in Spain.
00:15:41.384 --> 00:15:46.344
Uh, I actually started in Pamplona because the mountains were very snowy that year and I didn't want to lose my life.
00:15:46.833 --> 00:15:53.423
But, uh, this adventure ultimately was just one of those, I just want to see if I can do it moments.
00:15:54.443 --> 00:15:58.464
And honestly, it's turned into one of the most remarkable journeys.
00:15:58.884 --> 00:16:05.864
of self discovery and learning that I still tap into for insights even 17 years later.
00:16:08.073 --> 00:16:28.553
So on my Camino, I walked for 30 days from Pamplona to Santiago and crossing Spain, you go through all sorts of different terrains, mountains, plains, forests, and more, while all the time connecting the dots from village to village to tiny town and a few larger cities.
00:16:30.094 --> 00:16:40.953
While most of the Camino is very rural and picturesque, some of the lengths that you go through are in more urban areas, or even track right alongside a highway.
00:16:41.244 --> 00:16:43.443
So not super pretty, necessarily.
00:16:43.823 --> 00:16:48.703
Um, and I think it's really easy in a certain mindset to think of these as quote unquote not very nice.
00:16:49.234 --> 00:16:57.114
Uh, but, I think this is also one of the great lessons that you gain on the Camino, is really starting to see beauty in some of these unexpected places.
00:16:58.788 --> 00:17:15.558
Alright, so picture me walking, it's my sixth day, I am coming out of Legroño, which is a big city, it's the capital of Rioja, and I'm on one of these less than stunning stretches, pacing a highway for a little while outside the city.
00:17:16.689 --> 00:17:27.489
I was on my own that day, and at some point, the path starts to wind through some hills further off the road, surrounded by all of these acres of grapevines.
00:17:28.308 --> 00:17:33.759
And so as I started coming into this area, there were a lot of rocks that I could see scattered about.
00:17:34.058 --> 00:17:39.999
And I'm imagining that as people were plowing up the farmland, they were removing them and like tossing them, tossing them away.
00:17:40.878 --> 00:17:46.828
And amongst these rocks on the side of the trail, I see a cairn, like just one.
00:17:47.239 --> 00:17:49.378
And honestly, this was a pretty common thing.
00:17:49.409 --> 00:17:54.868
Pilgrims will build cairns all along the Camino just as like little markers to help people find the way.
00:17:56.219 --> 00:18:05.048
But then I started really focusing my attention on like what was around me and I looked ahead and I could see all those rocks that I mentioned scattered about.
00:18:05.348 --> 00:18:09.148
But what I hadn't realized was that it wasn't just one cairn on the path.
00:18:09.439 --> 00:18:11.598
There were literally hundreds of them.
00:18:12.663 --> 00:18:16.374
All along the hillside, I mean, they were just everywhere.
00:18:19.074 --> 00:18:22.884
And as you can imagine, this took me totally by surprise.
00:18:23.294 --> 00:18:28.003
And it is an experience that is like seared into my memory because of the impact that it had.
00:18:28.634 --> 00:18:31.374
At that moment, when I was walking on my own.
00:18:31.963 --> 00:18:34.943
I suddenly realized I wasn't alone anymore.
00:18:36.253 --> 00:18:45.183
I could imagine every single person who had come through and left a small token of their existence adding a stone to a cairn or starting a new one.
00:18:46.263 --> 00:18:47.963
And that idea just simply floored me.
00:18:48.463 --> 00:18:55.044
It has been one of those things, one of those experiences that continues to create this sense of hope and belonging for me.
00:18:55.804 --> 00:19:01.584
I think of all the people who were on the Camino before me and all the people that would come after.
00:19:02.364 --> 00:19:11.203
And there was this really amazing sense of connection, and knowing that it was alright, and that collectively, we were doing this thing together.
00:19:16.263 --> 00:19:17.054
It's so good.
00:19:17.834 --> 00:19:18.384
so good.
00:19:18.693 --> 00:19:23.023
So, the cairn has continued to become a super important symbol for me then.
00:19:23.513 --> 00:19:29.574
Uh, it creates connection and strength, and is this like undeniable message for me that I'm on the right path.
00:19:30.019 --> 00:19:34.888
and that I have everything that I need, and that I can do hard things, just like the Camino.
00:19:35.898 --> 00:19:38.739
It's a reminder for me that things take time to build.
00:19:39.548 --> 00:19:52.949
It keeps me balanced, knowing that each stone stacked up, you know, sits in just a way to stay put, but that one of them can fall off, or the whole thing can be toppled over, but then it can be rebuilt in a new way.
00:19:54.034 --> 00:19:57.844
It symbolizes the importance of both leadership and followership.
00:19:57.874 --> 00:20:07.354
For me, this idea of knowing that we have to mark the way for others and to also look for those markers and make sure that we're adding our own contributions.
00:20:08.124 --> 00:20:13.213
Ultimately, the impact then that we can have ripples so much further beyond ourselves.
00:20:13.713 --> 00:20:22.324
So when I need that inner strength or reassurance from my leader within, I imagine the Cairn or my Camino Cairn and all of the meaning that it's got for me.
00:20:23.868 --> 00:20:24.979
Wow.
00:20:27.128 --> 00:20:34.818
I mean, that's like, I obviously, this doesn't happen to me often.
00:20:35.409 --> 00:20:37.858
I am like, I'm just speechless.
00:20:37.868 --> 00:20:45.699
Like the power in the, in the retelling of that story, I can, I can feel that strength.
00:20:46.378 --> 00:20:54.078
You know, I can feel that moment for you, the emotion that comes with it and the power Recalling
00:20:54.653 --> 00:20:55.213
Hmm.
00:20:55.558 --> 00:20:59.538
that as your leader within, it's blown my mind.
00:21:00.038 --> 00:21:01.288
It's totally blown my mind.
00:21:03.173 --> 00:21:03.653
I love it.
00:21:03.669 --> 00:21:04.449
for sharing That
00:21:04.503 --> 00:21:04.933
Yeah.
00:21:05.544 --> 00:21:08.763
Thank you for giving me the space to finally record it.
00:21:12.243 --> 00:21:14.304
So, so what about you, Vic?
00:21:14.733 --> 00:21:16.364
Tell us about your leader within.
00:21:19.729 --> 00:21:23.689
So I think I found my leader within decades ago.
00:21:24.439 --> 00:21:27.969
I'm not sure there was one single event that brought her out.
00:21:28.614 --> 00:21:36.233
However, I just remember her not being there when I was 20 and then her being there when I was 21.
00:21:37.493 --> 00:21:49.534
And I don't think it was until much later that I started to work with her and give her a name and work out like how to call on her.
00:21:51.183 --> 00:21:57.673
And so my leader within is Captain Vic and this is because she rights my ship.
00:21:58.608 --> 00:22:08.278
If I'm too much or too little of anything, so if I'm playing too small or I'm too much in my head, she like pushes her way to the front.
00:22:08.288 --> 00:22:13.519
She stands on the tippy tip of the bow of the ship and she steers.
00:22:13.519 --> 00:22:20.679
Just out there, Wind in her hair, hands on her hips, just like strong and true.
00:22:22.118 --> 00:22:30.358
And I first remember encountering her, maybe I was like 21, and I found myself in a relationship that just wasn't serving me.
00:22:31.088 --> 00:22:39.499
It was this like repeating cycle of amazing, followed by crap, followed by great, followed by shit.
00:22:40.398 --> 00:22:43.659
And I just couldn't seem to get myself out of it.
00:22:44.443 --> 00:22:54.044
You know, like when you're in that just constant grind of, you're just on this merry go round that never seems to stop.
00:22:55.304 --> 00:23:08.183
And I remember thinking, how do I activate the part of me that doesn't care that I love this person, but it's the part of me that loves me more than this cycle of doom.
00:23:10.294 --> 00:23:14.554
So the part that's bigger and better and stronger than this crap.
00:23:15.513 --> 00:23:19.023
And somehow Captain Vic came into focus.
00:23:20.183 --> 00:23:24.284
I didn't have any idea then about leader within or your inner guide or your truest self.
00:23:24.354 --> 00:23:27.624
Like I just needed to be the one that broke this cycle.
00:23:28.094 --> 00:23:32.564
And I needed to dig like super deep to find the courage.
00:23:33.854 --> 00:23:34.983
And so that's what I did.
00:23:35.753 --> 00:23:36.874
And from that point.
00:23:38.058 --> 00:23:41.739
I called on this part of me for many, many things.
